Excellent Location and Helpful Staff

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the Riverwalk and downtown attractions, making it convenient to walk around. the front desk staff were very kind and helpful, answering all our questions promptly. However, improvements can be made in terms of cleanliness and communication among the staff to ensure a more satisfactory stay for guests.

The hotel's location was ideal, with a peaceful balcony overlooking the riverwalk. Easy access to attractions yet away from the busy nightlife. Beds were comfortable. Improvements needed for the overall experience, but the potential is there for a pleasant stay.

My recent trip was quite a whirlwind, but staying in this hotel made it all go smoothly. The rooms were top-notch - even had a wet bar! The staff was super helpful with all the tech stuff for my meetings. And oh boy, that balcony view! Who needs TV when you've got the Riverwalk right outside? Plus, the food options were a lifesaver for my picky eaters. Already planning my next family getaway here - my wife can't resist a good spa product !

Just stayed at a hotel with a room overlooking the Riverwalk - magical at night! Beds were SO COMFY, staff super friendly. Loved the spacious rooms. Would definitely return! The place looked even better in person!

Staying at the Holiday Inn San Antonio-Riverwalk was a seamless experience, providing easy access to the San Antonio River Walk and a recently remodeled property that exudes modern comfort and Texas charm. The King Balcony Riverview Road suite offered a sophisticated sanctuary and open-air seating area, perfect for basking in the San Antonio air.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the lack of carpeting in the rooms, leading to noise from drops and people walking above. This small detail detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend the addition of carpeting to enhance the overall guest experience.

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a good value. We loved having a room facing the Riverwalk with on-site parking. The close proximity to attractions like The Alamo and La Villita Historic Arts Village provided great family bonding opportunities. The swimming pool and garden area were perfect for relaxation after exploring the nearby landmarks.

The staff here was amazing - very friendly and helpful! They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and even got us a microwave for our room. the location was perfect right on the Riverwalk, providing easy access to endless activities. We loved our balcony overlooking the beautiful area. the beds were super comfy, and the pool area with a DJ and bar was fantastic. the bartender was great too!

One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the rooms - we had a small issue with the cleanliness initially. room service was on request basis only, which meant we had to remember to ask for it before 10 am.

Holiday Inn in downtown offers Excellent breakfast with a diverse menu and attentive service. the Perfect location allows easy access to Riverwalk and nearby entertainment. Rooms are Large, comfortable, and provide an Excellent view of the riverwalk.

Housekeeping missed providing additional towels during a 3-night stay. No room cleaning done during our visit.

The grab & go options at Mugg's Cafe were a real lifesaver during my stay. I was able to grab a quick bite before heading out to explore the Riverside locale just minutes away from the hotel. It was like having a personal food concierge at my disposal!

The recently rejuvenated property provides a distinctive sanctuary of sophistication and comfort, with attention to detail like engineered hardwood floors and a fine selection of pillows for personalized comfort. The King Balcony Riverview Road suite, in particular, was a highlight, offering an open-air seating area embellished with lounge furniture, perfect for basking in the San Antonio air.

If you have a large or lifted truck, you might face parking difficulties as the parking garage may not accommodate it. I had to park in valet and due to the tight space, the valet wouldn’t park it for us.

The hotel was super cozy and welcoming, plus it's in the perfect spot near all the cool spots to eat and drink. The staff at the front desk were so chill and nice, always ready to help and answer my questions. Loved the heated swimming pool and the garden area, perfect for just chilling out. Only downside was that the onsite restaurant was closed, but hey, plenty of other places to dine nearby! 🌟

the beds were amazingly soft, like sleeping on a cloud. the location was perfect for exploring the area on foot. despite the small and simple rooms, they were comfortable for a good night's sleep. even though our large vehicle made us anxious, we managed to fit in the parking garage without issues. being close to the spa on the same floor was a convenient bonus.
