The beach access is excellent. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The shuttle to downtown is a smart convenience. The renovated pool area and bar add a nice touch. the restaurant’s early closure due to staff shortages was disappointing. A few nearby dining options attempted to fill the gap. The room was adequate but felt dated. Housekeeping missed the mark; my request for less frequent towel replacement was not communicated effectively. The slow elevator was annoying, and the small bathroom didn’t help. Despite these issues, the vacation was enjoyable. with a few adjustments, the experience could elevate significantly.

Easy beach access and closeness to downtown attractions!

Staying on the beach was such a treat, and from the hotel, it was just a short stroll to the sandy shoreline, where we enjoyed both the pool and the ocean; plus, we were able to easily explore the nearby historic downtown area filled with great restaurants and unique shops. The diverse amenities, including a tiki bar and an on-site restaurant with friendly staff, made our stay enjoyable. while we loved the ambiance, the room could have been tidied up daily to enhance our experience.

The beach access is fantastic, and the staff were very helpful during our stay. Unfortunately, the carpets felt worn and the rooms could use some updates.

Staying at Guy Harvey Resort was a delight! The pool area was vibrant, and the restaurant offered excellent food. The friendly staff, especially Sierra, ensured we had a room with a great view. Access to the beach was effortless, making it the ideal location for a relaxing vacation.

Exceptional service, clean rooms, stunning location!

The location was unbeatable! I loved having direct beach access and soaking in the sun by the fabulous outdoor pool. Plus, the nearby restaurants were delicious, making it so easy to indulge!

The room was small but comfortable. The bed took up most of the space, leaving little room to move around. Temperature control was inconsistent; the AC could have worked better. Noise traveled easily, and we experienced barking dogs from neighboring rooms, which was quite disruptive. The bathroom needed better cleaning, with some mold visible. It lacked body soap and a proper shower door, and the shower head wasn’t satisfactory. the proximity to the beach and the vibrant restaurant with good food was a definite plus. I appreciated the artwork displayed around the hotel.

Just a proper fit for a cursory stop in St Augustine with fantastic value for money. Room was spacious and clean.

The lobby had a welcoming atmosphere and the partial ocean view from the balcony was pleasant. The beach and pool were nice, and I appreciated the dog-friendly policy. Disappointingly, the hotel felt more like a Motel 6 than a resort, with outdated rooms and a small pool. The lack of included amenities like beach umbrellas and chairs was frustrating. The housekeeping service was subpar, as towels were dirty and beds were left unmade. Overall, potential for improvement but not worth the experience.

Location was excellent, with quick access to the beach. The room was pet-friendly, and I enjoyed seeing the variety of animals around.

The rooms did not match the online pictures, and there was a strong smell of animal urine throughout. Some areas, like the bathroom and the refrigerator, were not properly maintained.

The staff treated us like family, friendly and helpful with everything. The location was right on the beach, perfect for making sandcastles and swimming.

It wasn’t cheap, but for the views and service, it was worth it.
