Historic character, pet-friendly, comfy room, friendly staff, great location.

Not one thing.

We stayed at a hotel located down the hill in the Railway parking area, which was excellent as it was close to everything we needed - stores, restaurants, and the main drag in downtown. The room we had was a nice size and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast facilities available. it was a good place for a short stop.

It would have been better if there were more accessibility features for guests with disabilities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, with access to all the best shops and cafes nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. The room was equipped with all the necessary amenities including heating and air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a cozy sitting area, and flat-screen TV.

The view from the corner suite was magical, especially during a snowstorm. The room was rustic with a full kitchen, full bath, a living room, and a great bed. The staff was alert and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of great food, and several breweries and taverns. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

The noise next to the train line can be jarring and make it hard to rest.

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Hood River, with all the local shops right next door. The friendly staff welcomed us warmly and the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, especially the very comfortable bed on top of plush carpet. Breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of options to choose from.

Recently stayed at a charming hotel in Hood River for a short getaway. Loved the historic vibe and clean rooms. Great downtown location near restaurants and breweries. Characterful with unique features, unlike generic chains. Would definitely return.

In the center of a fun, vibrant town, I had the best stay at this hotel. The location was so close to everything, I could walk anywhere I wanted to go downtown. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. This hotel is very unique and has a charming character that sets it apart from other places I've stayed. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable experience.

It was all superb.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with complimentary beer. the hotel has a prime location right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore the area on foot. We also appreciated the free coffee and tea available in the lobby.

The room had its downsides. the bathroom was in poor condition and the thin walls made it difficult to sleep due to noise from neighbors and street traffic.
