The room was clean with a river view balcony. Walking distance to a charming town with a boardwalk. Street-level access available for those with mobility issues.

We had such a memorable stay at the Rio in beautiful Winthrop! The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. As young families, we loved the convenience and being able to explore the town easily. The breathtaking views from our room's balcony, overlooking the Methow River, were simply incredible. The peaceful sounds of the water flowing and watching ospreys and deer added to the tranquility. It was a chance to relax and escape from city life.

This is our go-to hotel for our annual President's Day weekend XC ski trip. The location is unbeatable, with ski trails within walking distance and great restaurants nearby. The room is clean and comfy, and the river view from the small terrace is wonderful. We'll definitely be coming back next year!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic town, overlooking the picturesque river in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and we were impressed with the hotel facilities, including the microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker in our room. The staff was friendly and accommodating, quickly fulfilling any additional requests we had. Additionally, we loved that the hotel was within walking distance of the skating rink and ski trails, allowing us to easily enjoy outdoor activities.

We recently had a romantic getaway in this charming hotel. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the river from the balcony, which was perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The room was spacious and clean, with local artisan details that added to its charm. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, providing us with information about local attractions and restaurants. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to shops and eateries.

We did have a few minor issues during our stay. The refrigerator in our room was not turned on when we arrived, so it took a while for our drinks to cool down.

As foreign tourists, we loved the comfortable beds and the beautiful balconies overlooking the Methow and Chewuch rivers. It was a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and look out for deer. The location was great, with just a short walk to excellent espresso and baked goods in the morning. The hotel's proximity to restaurants and the convenience of having a microwave and fridge in our room were also bonuses. a great place to stay.
