the ascends hotel has a great location near two fantastic dining options. i loved the delicious southern cuisine at the on-site restaurant, making meals super enjoyable! the seasonal pool opening on may 1 also adds to the appeal, perfect for a refreshing dip during warmer days.

the check-in process was a bit annoying, with a rude hostess and no river view despite my requests.

the fitness room is a great bonus for staying active. the in room a/c unit was a bit looud.
