great spot for future trips

Room had air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator, and a nice seating area. The shower stall was cool but leaked a bit. Breakfast was varied and staff were super nice. Loved the beach view from the balcony. The indoor pool was a hit, and the fitness center looked good too. Dog walking area was a nice touch.

I had a real issue with our room. The bathroom sink was severely cracked, and the shower’s water pressure was weak. To top it off, the bed had mismatched linens that were old and barely stayed on. Definitely not worth the price.

Steps from the beach with great dining and attractions nearby

I loved how this hotel was just a few steps from the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy sunrise strolls and sunsets while having the amazing King Neptune Statue and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk within walking distance at around 400 meters and 800 meters away, respectively; there were plenty of excellent restaurants nearby like Ocean 27 and King of the Sea, both less than a 5-minute walk, which made dining out a breeze after delightful poolside relaxation and a decent breakfast each morning. Although the balcony view was fantastic, with dolphins greeting us every day, I did notice some cleanliness issues with cigarette butts from the balcony above that could definitely use improvement.

The oceanfront view is truly stunning, a picturesque way to start the day. The central location is on point, making it easy to find restaurants and shops nearby.

The room was spacious and comfortable, especially after our complimentary upgrade to a suite. the bed lacked some support, affecting sleep quality. Temperature control was adequate, keeping us cool. The ocean-view balcony added a nice touch, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, basic necessities were missing, like a trash can in the kitchen. The toilet had multiple issues, requiring frequent complaints. While the staff was friendly, housekeeping could improve; they changed sheets only once during our week-long stay. Wi-Fi worked great, but parking access was a hassle. The refrigerator failed on us, complicating things with a young child.

The breakfast until 10 am offered flexibility, but it fell short. Pancakes and dry eggs don’t count as a quality spread. Staffing issues at check-in, especially with one person at the desk during peak times, need addressing. I experienced service inconsistencies—some team members were efficient, others lacked urgency. The pool is undersized for the hotel’s capacity. Having two elevators led to delays. A mirror in the bedroom would be a thoughtful addition. Beautiful setting, but areas of service require improvement to match the expectations set by the location.

From walking on the boardwalk to enjoying cocktails, the hotel's vibe was a beachfront dream. The 24-hour workout room was a savior after excess dining. The indoor garden made my morning coffee even more delightful.

Breakfast was hit or miss—those powdered eggs weren't great, and the styrofoam packaging felt cheap. There were EV chargers available, which is a plus, but finding parking was challenging. A slightly awkward encounter about water dripping from our balcony was unnecessary; our room was dry. Still, little touches like free tampons in the restroom were appreciated. The place is nice, but there’s room for improvement in service and dining options.
