The kitchen amenities were handy, but the pillows were disappointingly flat. Breakfast offered tasty options, although there were often shortages of real cutlery, leading to a plastic fork situation. The pool was uncomfortably warm at 84 degrees, but the shuttle to the casino was a nice perk. It’s a shame, because I really wanted to love this place.

The spacious room at Hyatt Place Uncasville was a highlight, featuring a comfortable bed and convenient kitchenette. the shower’s cleanliness left much to be desired, and some appliances at breakfast were malfunctioning. Proximity to Mohegan Sun was a plus, but staff friendliness varied.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfy and the staff is very accommodating especially Claude the shuttle driver who was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was solid with enough options to start the day right.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious and clean, I mean, we had so much room to move around, it was awesome. But, I gotta say, the lack of in-room microwave was a bit of a bummer. We had to run down to the lobby to heat up our leftovers. The staff, though, they were super friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra towels and blankets, and they hooked us up right away, no questions asked. Oh, and the free breakfast was a nice touch, lots of options to choose from. One thing that really ticked me off was the surprise charge for a late checkout. I mean, come on, we left early and still got charged? Not cool, Hyatt, not cool. the whole power outage situation was a mess. The generator was busted, emergency lights were out, it was like a scene from a horror movie trying to find our way out of the hotel. They definitely could've handled it better. Not a bad stay, but definitely some areas they need to work on. Next time, I might just opt for a different hotel to avoid any surprises or mishaps like we experienced at the Hyatt.

Super friendly staff! Rooms are super clean and comfy. Loved the private bathroom and all the amenities like the fridge, hairdryer, and TV. The fitness centre is a nice bonus. Breakfast was good and fully stocked thanks to the attentive staff. Plus, the shuttle to Mohegan Sun was a lifesaver!

Enjoyable stays near great attractions and casinos

I had a great time discovering all the activities nearby, from the Mohegan Sun which is just a short 10-minute shuttle ride away, to the beautiful landscapes at Stoddard Hill State Park about 3 km away perfect for a stroll. The staff was friendly and made sure all my needs were met, providing complimentary breakfast and access to nice amenities like the pool and gym, but the room cleanliness could use some improvement as I found the carpet needed a good vacuum.
