Hyatt Place was a clean and comfortable hotel during my recent stay in Salt Lake City. I appreciated the convenience of having everything I needed right at the hotel, without having to venture out into the city. One particular staff member, the night shift gentleman with long brown hair, stood out for his professionalism and kindness. He went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay even more enjoyable. The check-in staff were also helpful, providing alternative activity suggestions when our initial choice was closed for renovation. Despite it being New Year's Eve, the entire staff remained friendly and attentive, creating a positive atmosphere. I will definitely stay at Hyatt Place again and recommend it to others visiting from out of town.

Our stay at Hyatt Place was excellent. The location in downtown was perfect, with easy access to the train station and a nice walk to downtown attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and felt brand new, with all the amenities we needed. The pool, hot tub, and fitness center were a great bonus. we had zero complaints during our 4-night stay. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Salt Lake again. I highly recommend this hotel.

During my transit in Salt Lake City, I stayed at Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Downtown/The Gateway. I appreciated the convenient location, as it is only a 20-minute walk from 600 West @ 250 S, and just 15 km away from Salt Lake City International Airport. The outdoor pool and spa were a refreshing way to unwind after a long day of travel.

The hotel's customer service fell short of my expectations. Despite contacting them to confirm my late arrival, I was charged for the room and then given away to another guest.

The tram stop is also conveniently located nearby, making it easy to explore the area or catch a ride to the airport. The rooms are spacious and come with two queen-sized beds and a sofa, which is a bonus for larger groups or families. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast with free coffee to go, which is a nice touch and ensures a great start to the day.

I recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. The prices were reasonable and the included breakfast was a fantastic perk. The hotel's attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, from the friendly and efficient staff at the front desk to the clean and comfortable rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the hotel's convenient location right next to the Gateway mall and within close proximity to a variety of outdoor malls and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to the light rail station made transportation a breeze.

Great location with easy access to various stores and restaurants. the convenience of being able to walk or take the free train nearby was a major plus.

Charging for parking was a big downside, especially when there wasn't enough space in their own lot and guests were forced to use the overflow parking. In a rush, this added step became a major source of annoyance.

I had a fantastic stay! The staff here were incredibly helpful, especially when it came to recommending dining options. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the bed and pillows were top-notch compared to other hotels in the same price range. The hotel's complimentary breakfast was excellent, and I was impressed that they didn't use paper products in the rooms or for the buffet. Additionally, I loved how close this hotel was to public transportation, including the light rail which we used every day, as well as the Frontrunner to get to a football game in Provo. It made exploring this city so convenient!

This hotel was a great find. It's located in a wonderful spot for exploring the city and is right by the convention center. We felt safe and comfortable walking around and taking in all the downtown activities. The rooms were cozy with very comfortable beds and even had a sofa for relaxing. The breakfast, which was included in our stay, was fantastic and we were able to grab free coffee to go.

No major complaints, everything was ok.
