This place blew us away. The style, historical fidelity, service, and food were all beyond what we expected. The staff had that ownership mentality that made a huge difference - so proud of their work, hotel, and town. Check-in was efficient, and we were able to enjoy a drink in the evening sunshine after a quick shower. The breakfast was nice, and we could sit outside on the patio. The room had a huge spa-bathtub, perfect for relaxation. They even had a basket with coffee and tea outside our door before breakfast. The breakfast on the back patio was delicious and the service was wonderful. The person in charge of breakfast and the rooms was incredibly capable and kind. Our room opened onto a balcony overlooking the center of town, making for a great place to enjoy the cool air and a cup of coffee. The restaurant served delicious meals with style and grace. Hospitality and comfort are reasons to come back again.

We had a delightful one-night escape to wine country and stayed at a charming old gold rush era hotel. The basket of coffee and tea outside our door in the morning was a lovely touch. The breakfast on the back patio was delicious, with a fantastic omelet cooked to order. The staff, including the owner, were wonderful and the service was top-notch. The updated bathroom with a heated towel rack was a nice touch. The restaurant served gourmet meals at fair prices. a really nice stay!

The Imperial Hotel offered a charming and historical backdrop for our romantic getaway. We enjoyed the old-time charm and quiet atmosphere of our room. The staff, including the owner, were wonderful and provided excellent service. The hotel restaurant had a great wine selection, delicious food, and live piano music, making for a fabulous dining experience. The included breakfast was also outstanding, especially the freshly baked bread. The location overlooking the main street of the small town was beautiful, and we loved exploring the nearby wine tasting rooms.

We had a delightful time staying at a quaint, late 1800s hotel in the Sierra foothills. The rooms were comfortable with modern amenities like air conditioning and spacious bathrooms. The sitting areas provided shade and relaxation options. The restaurant and bar offered decent food and drinks. Despite the itty bitty town, it was a great place to unwind after wine tasting adventures. The use of Trader Joe's products for reducing waste impressed us. we recommend this charming and comfortable historic hotel.

The hotel had a rustic charm that was appealing, with its creaky floorboards and red brick walls. the renovated showers, fixtures, lighting, and AC were a nice touch. the bed was comfortable and the windows allowed for fresh air. the location was also convenient, situated on a quieter road away from the busier areas. Additionally, the dinner and breakfast at the hotel were great, and there were plenty of wineries nearby to explore.

The hotel was not located directly on Highway 49 as expected, but rather on a back road. This could be misleading for guests who are specifically looking for a hotel on the main highway.

Had a fabulous New Year's Eve at this charming old hotel in a small historic town. the room was clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony and a cozy sitting area. the bathroom was modern and even had a towel warmer, which was a nice touch. the hotel is located in a great spot, close to interesting shops and wineries. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.

There was some noise from the bar downstairs in the evening, but it didn't bother us too much. There was also a bit of confusion regarding our reservation and the communication could have been better.
