Our stay at this B&B was worth every penny. The room was clean, charming, and cozy, just like you would expect in a Maine B&B. The location was ideal, with shops and restaurants within a short walk. The staff, especially Tori and Robin, were incredibly welcoming and treated us like family throughout our stay.

Menu for breakfast could have included more vegetarian options.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and spacious work desk in the room. The delicious homemade breakfast provided a great start to my day. The innkeepers were helpful and gave excellent dining recommendations.

The hosts at James Place Inn were absolutely amazing! They were so helpful with local recommendations and made us feel right at home. The breakfast they served was incredible, especially the French toast and omelet. The location of the inn was perfect for exploring downtown. The location of this bed and breakfast is ideal for exploring Freeport. It is conveniently situated within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, providing easy access to everything the town has to offer. Additionally, the inn is tucked away in a quiet area, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.

The bathroom in one of the rooms is quite small, making it challenging to find space to put toiletries.
