the complimentary bike rental was a fantastic perk, allowing us to easily explore the city. the room itself was spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable. the hotel's location, just steps away from Union Station and the Capitol, made it incredibly convenient for getting around the city by foot, bike, or public transportation. We especially enjoyed the social hour in the afternoon, where we could relax with a glass of wine and meet other guests. the staff at the George were exceptional, always kind, quick to help, and extremely helpful.

The hotel is in need of renovations, with damaged furniture and insufficient lighting in the bathroom. The room had a stained toilet and box springs cover.

We loved our stay at Kimpton! The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the free happy hour in the evening. Although the sliding door to the bathroom required some muscle, it wasn't a big deal. we would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay!
