I recently stayed at Kimpton Shorebreak in Huntington Beach for a quick getaway. The rewards program provided free wifi and there were plenty of activities to enjoy like borrowing bikes, playing table tennis, and indulging in free wine and smores. The friendly staff, except for the bar staff on one occasion, were always helpful and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The hangout area was a great place to relax and the beautiful bar offered excellent service. it felt like a fun community, not just a place to sleep.

This hotel is in a prime location, just a stone's throw away from the beach, dog beach, and pier. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it an ideal spot for dining and shopping enthusiasts. Rooms are clean, bright, and thoughtfully furnished. The hotel offers a Duffy boat tour in Newport, which was a highlight of many visitors' trips.

Some guests mentioned unexpected additional charges and noise levels being problematic.

I had an amazing stay at the Kimpton Shorebreak! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I had an issue with the WiFi, but they quickly sent someone to my room to fix it. They were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel had a very California vibe with beautiful decor and a chill lounge area. I loved the complimentary bikes and the ping pong table. The ocean view from my room was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

The staff, especially Omar at the front desk, were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel's restaurant had amazing food, and we loved the outdoor fire pits and smores kit. The facilities and amenities, such as valet parking and activities like bike rentals and ping pong, were fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

The valet service was reasonably priced and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The WiFi issue was quickly resolved and the record player in the room was a fun touch.
