The room I stayed in had a cozy and traditional ambiance, reflecting the local culture of Taos. The owner, "Paco," and his staff were incredibly gracious and made me feel like part of their family. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, with a variety of choices that satisfied my taste buds. The artistic touch of the inn, with beautiful paintings adorning the walls, made it feel like I was staying in a lovely museum. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a relaxing and culturally enriching experience in Taos.

We were able to explore the city easily on foot, with everything within walking distance. The hotel facilities were great - our room had a spacious private patio with stunning mountain views, and there was a separate sitting room with a TV. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and we appreciated the unique and beautiful decor throughout, with local art in every nook and cranny. The staff, especially the owner, were extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast served here was one of the best we've ever had!

During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the unique and beautifully decorated rooms. Each room had its own artistic touch and cozy atmosphere. The views from our private patio were breathtaking, overlooking the majestic mountains. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything in central Taos and served as a great base for exploring the region.

The only downside we found was that at the time of our stay, the city of Taos did not provide recycling services. It was a bit disappointing that all recyclable materials had to be thrown in the rubbish.

This hotel is excellent in every way. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms are unique and beautifully decorated. The location is also a major selling point, as it is right in the heart of an awesome town. It's so convenient to be able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, and the breakfast served here is excellent. I highly recommend trying their green chile, it's distinctly southwestern and very tasty.

I stayed at La Dona Luz Inn for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The central location is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was spacious, and I loved having a separate lounge area. The innkeeper, Paco, has a great eye for quirky decorations that added character to the place. Plus, the view of the mountains from the patio was a lovely bonus.
