The Lafayette Hotel & Spa provided excellent value for the money. The room was spacious and had a comfortable king bed, desk, and sofa. The staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, just 15 minutes outside of Oakland, and the hotel felt secluded and peaceful amidst the bustling city.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety and freshness.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Lafayette. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always happy to help with any requests I had. The hotel facilities were top-notch, from the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms to the peaceful and private pool area surrounded by trees. The location was also ideal, as it was close to the freeway but surprisingly quiet. It was only a short commute to Oakland, making it convenient for exploring the East Bay areas. The hotel also had a great restaurant and bar, offering delicious food choices at reasonable prices. I had a fantastic experience here.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The location, nestled against the hillside in a forest, was perfect for a peaceful escape from the busy city. The staff treated me with exceptional service, especially the very nice receptionist on the night shift. The room amenities were excellent, with a cozy sitting area, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. The on-site restaurant and bar/lounge area served delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The spa and wellness center, complete with a sauna and outdoor swimming pool, provided the ultimate relaxation experience. Plus, free Wi-Fi in public areas was a nice touch!

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and amenities. Tucked away against a hillside with a view of the forest, this place was a peaceful escape from the busy city. The staff, especially the very nice receptionist working the night shift, treated guests with exceptional service. The room was complete with various amenities such as air conditioning, comfortable sitting area, and tea/coffee facilities. Additionally, the fitness facility and outdoor swimming pool were much appreciated features.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The lobby and restaurant were also spacious and airy. The front desk staff made sure to place our room in a quiet area away from any events, which was very much appreciated!

The hotel is located on a narrow plot of land sandwiched between commercial properties along a busy road next to a highway. The hotel's location is not very charming and doesn't match the online fantasy French chateau description.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The pool was a great spot for relaxation, and the massages at the spa were excellent. Additionally, we discovered a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby that offered authentic cuisine and impeccable service.

For the price we paid, the rooms were not up to par. They were overpriced and did not provide good value for money, especially during peak seasons like summer or weekends.
