The hotel is definitely worth the extra distance from other locations on the Ski Lifts. We found the prices to be extremely cheap, especially for the weekend rates. Plus, it has some vintage woodsy charm and the basic amenities were all functioning well. Our room had a view, with a balcony and a patio, and that’s something we particularly enjoyed. The location is just down the street from the big casinos, so that was convenient.

The location of this hotel was convenient, being next to a walking path to the beach and close to the Reno airport. I appreciated the good service from the friendly staff. The breakfast had good quality bread and butter during dinner at the Timbers restaurant.

I had a fantastic stay at this Lakeside Inn And Casino. The Parlor room was spacious and perfect for families. The staff were kind and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was great, close to all the South Shore activities and South Lake Tahoe area. We also loved the proximity to the great restaurants, especially the Latin Soul restaurant which served excellent food. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Peaceful atmosphere away from the main attractions. Nearby state park for enjoyable walks. Midweek prices are affordable. Good pool area. The Parlor room is spacious and ideal for families. Easy access to the casino. Loose slots for gambling. Timbers restaurant offers delicious food. Declining room service gives $5 towards food. Will definitely return.

The breakfast at Lakeside Inn And Casino was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the $4.99 breakfast and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, and there were enough video poker machines to keep me entertained. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

The worst aspect of my stay was the lack of clarity regarding transportation options. The information provided about shuttle buses and schedules was confusing and inconsistent, making it difficult to plan my outings.

Loved spending Christmas at this cozy hotel with my family! We received complimentary cookies and hot cocoa upon arrival, which made us feel right at home. The hotel was ideally located in close proximity to the ski slopes and we enjoyed skiing during our stay. The fireplace in the lobby created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for hanging out with family and friends.

We did notice that some of the rooms had outdated furniture and the walls were a little thin, making it easy to hear noise from adjacent rooms. the hot tub was not functioning properly during our visit which was a bit of a disappointment.
