As young people, we absolutely loved the fantastical setting of the Victorian Guest House. The décor and furnishings were amazing and really captured the essence of the Victorian Era. The hosts, Dusty and Steve, were excellent and provided great background information about the residence. We also appreciated the little details like cookies in the evening and a phone charging station in the room. The bed and sheets were dreamy, and we even found out that we could purchase the same sheets for our own home. The location was perfect, with good restaurants within walking distance and helpful recommendations from the hosts.

Felt good, no reason to complain.

I had a wonderful stay at the charming Lion And The Rose Victorian Guest House. The historic home was beautifully decorated for Christmas and impeccably maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were dreamy. The room had thoughtful amenities like a charging station and even an "Alexa" unit. Dusty and Steve, the hosts, were excellent and provided fascinating information about the residence. The location was perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance. it felt like staying in a fantastical place.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this historic home with its incredible furnishings. The attention to detail in maintaining the property was evident, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas during my visit. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the charging station and Alexa unit in the room. The hotel is conveniently located in a great neighborhood, close to everything I needed.

Could not be improved in any way.

The bed and sheets were absolutely dreamy, and you can even purchase the sheets from the hotel. the decor of the hotel really takes you back in time to the Victorian era, and you can feel the history throughout. In terms of convenience, there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and the staff is more than happy to provide recommendations if you don't feel like leafing through the provided booklets.

On the downside, the hotel is a bit of a walk to the nearest Max station, but it's not too bad. Additionally, there was a slight issue with the trash being emptied before check-out, which felt a bit creepy.
