As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved our stay at Live Oak Landing. The cabin was directly at the water with a screened-in porch, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, including a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher. The cabin was clean and neat, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the Wi-Fi in the cabin was excellent. It was exactly what we were looking for in a stress-free vacation.

We enjoyed swimming, biking, and kayaking, and loved that Live Oak is pet-friendly with a fenced dog play area. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back to Live Oak Landing whenever I'm in the area. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful weekend getaway.

Additionally, the outer area of the hotel was well, maintained and had a beautiful view of the river and trees.

One of the downsides of this hotel was the misrepresentation of the bedrooms. the 2, bedroom cottage that we booked turned out to be different from what was advertised.
