Lockheart Gables Romantic Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem in a residential neighborhood. The location we selected was beautiful, with cute little salt-box houses surrounding it. The rooms were large, beautifully decorated, and had a wonderful bathroom with a jacuzzi tub for 2. The hotel is filled with romance, from a heart-shaped tub to decorative touches of roses, hearts, and candles added at every turn. The breakfast was delicious, with ham and cheese omelets, fresh fruit, orange juice, and cinnamon rolls. this hotel was a perfect choice for our second honeymoon.

Everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic time during our New Year's stay. the heart-shaped French toast and blueberry pancakes were absolutely delicious. the location was convenient, with easy access to dining and nightlife. Another advantage was the cozy porch, perfect for relaxing on a beautiful day.

There were a few drawbacks. the porch did face the road, so there was some noise from passing traffic.

I will say that the location of this place was pretty good. It was close to the highway and there were plenty of things to do around the area. So if you're looking for a convenient spot, this place has that going for it. Additionally, the breakfast they served was actually pretty good. I especially loved the chocolate chip pancakes and my husband couldn't get enough of the coffee. So at least the food was decent. But honestly, that's about the only positive thing I can say about this place.
