I recently stayed at a hotel in Des Moines and had a great experience at Marina Inn. The location is fantastic, with wonderful eating places and a grocery store right across the street. The staff, especially CJ at the front desk, was incredibly helpful and gracious, accommodating our ever-changing schedule. The room itself was comfortable, with a sitting room that had a pull-out bed and a desk by the window. The bedding was clean, and I was able to get some much-needed sleep as the location was in a quiet area. a good choice for a stay in the area.

We had a blast exploring the fishing and boating pavilion at the Des Moines Marina, which was only a quick 10-minute drive from the SeaTac International Airport. We also had so much fun walking along the nearby beaches and shopping at the awesome South Center Mall. Definitely a dope spot for young people like us!

The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene near the hotel. We're young party animals and it would have been lit to have some cool clubs or bars within walking distance.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The manager on duty went above and beyond to help us get to our concert on time, and the night auditor even picked us up from the nearby train station. The service at this hotel is amazing. Additionally, the building may be older but everything was in good repair. The breakfast provided was good and free. The hotel is a great alternative to expensive downtown hotels in the city. It is conveniently located within walking distance to most everything in this town, and there is a train station nearby with free parking if you arrive early enough. The comfortable train ride to downtown Seattle only takes less than 40 minutes and costs just $3.

It was convenient having a grocery store nearby and being within walking distance of a nice park and marina. The location was perfect for flying out of Seattle Tacoma, only a 15-20 minute drive away. Parking was easy, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. We would definitely book here again.

This hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away from the main road but still conveniently surrounded by local eateries and near the water. The spacious and comfortable rooms are perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff are laid back yet attentive to all your needs, making check-in and check-out a breeze, no matter the time. As young people, we loved the quiet location and proximity to the waterfront and excellent restaurant nearby.
