It was also a nice break from the drive. Additionally, the host was friendly and helpful, making us feel like we were staying with a friend.

The check-in time of 4 PM was a bit late, and it would have been nice to have an earlier option. The nearest place for a sit-down meal was about 30-40 minutes away, which might be inconvenient for larger groups.

The only downside we encountered was the flimsy lock on the room door that faced outside. It didn't provide the level of security we would have preferred.

The home is new and purpose-built for a B&B, with our room opening up onto a back porch with rocking chairs and a view of the 80+ acre hayfield. The flower beds are beautiful and the strawberry patch allowed us to pick our own fresh berries. The breakfast buffet was amazing, featuring homemade jellies and jams. The owners were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again.
