I had a wonderful stay at the Meandering Moose Lodging. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, yet still close enough for a short drive to town. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. The hot showers were a great way to start the day, and I loved that even though I stayed in a dry cabin, the host made sure the refrigerator had pictures of fresh water for use. The Cozy Moose cabin, set off by itself, gave me a sense of privacy. My favorite part was the private firepit off the porch, perfect for cozy evenings. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The little log cabin was clean, comfortable, and even had a welcoming sign with our names. It was a pleasant surprise to have a cabin with a bathroom and a sink, thanks to a cancellation. The local owners were warm and welcoming, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed the sound of the nearby kennels during feeding time, though if it's not your thing, closing a window easily solved the issue. I even spotted moose feeding in the yard. it was a beautiful location, with helpful owners and a cozy atmosphere.
