I stayed at the Opera House Hotel only for transit during my travel, and I found the convenience of its location to be unparalleled. Situated just 0.2 km from 3rd Avenue-149th Street, it made accessing different parts of New York hassle-free. the spacious accommodations and intriguing decor of the historic building provided a unique and pleasant stay.

While the breakfast at the hotel was satisfactory, I found the lack of variety and freshness in the fruit selection to be a minor downside. However, considering the overall positive experience at the Opera House Hotel, this was a negligible inconvenience.

I chose this hotel for attending a vendor expo because it provides excellent meeting spaces like The Yankee's Clubhouse and The Marx Meeting Room, which were named after Yankee Stadium and the Marx Brothers, respectively. The convenient location just one mile away from the hotel made it easy to access for my work purposes.

The only service that I missed for my work was a lack of easily accessible power outlets in the meeting rooms for charging my devices during the expo.

The Studio Museum in Harlem, just 2.2 km away, and Yankee Stadium only 2 stops from the nearby subway station, made exploring easy. The room was cozy and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The large bathroom with a deep soaking tub was a great way to unwind after a day of activities.

The area around the hotel felt a bit unsafe for walking, especially at night. While the hotel itself was wonderful, it's advisable to use a taxi for arrival and departure rather than walking.

The Opera House Hotel, formerly the Bronx Opera House, hosted many of the most famous performers in the history of theater. It offers beautiful outdoor spaces, stunning architecture, and some of the most extensive animal exhibits on the East Coast at the Bronx Zoo. Giovanni's, the perfect place to retreat after exploring Arthur Avenue, provided a great family-friendly environment and delicious Italian cuisine.

My kids wished for a more kid-friendly menu at Giovanni's.

We had an amazing stay at the Opera House! From the moment we checked in with Jonathan, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. the concierge desk was manned by two very nice people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. the bed in our room was extremely comfortable, and when I requested additional pillows due to a medical issue, they were brought to us in less than five minutes. the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was spotless, and everything inside the hotel looked brand new. the free parking on the first night was a great bonus, and the breakfast provided was excellent. We also appreciated the easy access to public transportation.

Always choose this place for my stay. First visit, staff helped with suitcases. Suits me perfectly. Has everything I need: luggage storage, 24-hour reception, fitness studio, flat-screen TV. Coming back for holiday.

It was super close to the Bronx Zoo, and let me tell you, seeing those animals in their cool open spaces was wild! Plus, we were all geeking out about how the hotel used to be a theater, where some of the dopest shows went down. After exploring the zoo, we hit up Giovanni's on Arthur Avenue for some bomb Italian food.

The only thing that would make the stay even more epic would be if they had a rad rooftop hangout for young adventure-seekers like us.
