I got great value for my money at this cozy motel. The room was large, clean, and had a lovely ocean view from the enclosed porch. The location was ideal, with parking right at my door and easy beach access. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could use some improvement.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Our room was clean and well-maintained, with no signs of beach mold or rust. The beds were firm but comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The best part was the enclosed porch, which offered a lovely space to relax and enjoy the ocean view. We also appreciated the kitchen, which had the basics for simple food preparation. In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently close to the beach and had a nice fishing store across the street.

The parking situation was a bit difficult, as the cars were packed tightly. Some of the plugs in our room didn't work, which was inconvenient.

The area surrounding the hotel was absolutely breathtaking and the beaches were conveniently close. The staff were friendly and accommodating, handling our late arrival with ease. The pool was clean and not overpowering with chlorine. The bed, although dated, was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest.

The room was cramped and had an odd, musty odor. the bathroom was in dire need of an update and better cleaning.

We recently stayed at Outer Banks Motel for a relaxing beach vacation. The proximity to the beach was perfect, and we loved having a salt water pool on-site. The pool area was always clean, and assigned parking spots made it convenient. The friendly staff and attentive housekeeping made our stay even better. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fish cleaning station and enjoyed the delicious food at the nearby restaurant, Fatty's. Check-in was easy, and we appreciated the comfortable bed and great water pressure in our room.

Loved the vintage feel of the room and the proximity to the beach. The saltwater pool was clean and refreshing, and the fish cleaning station was a nice bonus. Across the street, Fatty's restaurant offers delicious homemade southern-style breakfast and lunch dishes. a lovely stay.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Buxton for 5 days and loved the non-commercialized area. The beach was a short walk away and our room had a private porch with a beautiful view of the water. The swimming pool and hot tub were great, especially the kiddy pool area. Our room was clean, and having our own assigned parking space was convenient. it was a nice stay and I would definitely book with this hotel again.

Being on top of the dune and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like camping without the hassle. We wanted to be close to the beach and that is exactly what we got! The room was clean and well-equipped, with enough towels and kitchen supplies. The parking right under our room made unloading and reloading easy. We had a partial ocean view from the living room and porch, and beach access was just a short walk away. The staff was helpful and accommodating, allowing us to change rooms for a better view and more space. a super lovely stay and we would definitely come back!

While the location and friendly staff were a plus, the interior of the hotel left much to be desired. The outdated decor and lack of maintenance were noticeable, especially with the dirty carpet and soft spots in the wood.
