Step back in time at this retro motel! the rooms are small but clean and well-maintained, complete with vintage furnishings. I loved the painted knotty pine walls and the windows that actually opened. the room had all the modern amenities I needed, including a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Plus, the appliances are unplugged when not in use, which is great for energy-saving. the motel is located in a quiet area, away from noisy trucks, and is close to popular attractions like Spring Green and Taliesin. it was a unique and enjoyable experience.

The only downside was the noise from the showers in adjacent rooms. Being an old establishment, it was expected, but it would have been better if the noise was less noticeable.

Despite the temperature issue, there were a few positive aspects of our stay. the room was exceptionally clean and spotless, which was a pleasant surprise given the low price we paid. Secondly, the motel had a great WiFi reception, allowing us to stay connected during our trip. Lastly, the cordial greeting from the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated as guests.

The room was freezing when we arrived and it took a whopping four hours for it to reach a comfortable temperature. To top it off, the room cleaners decided to turn down the heat again, so we had to endure another four hours of chilly discomfort upon our return.
