Our two-night stay at this lodge was absolutely delightful. The parking was convenient and free, right in front of the entrance. The lodge itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with a beautiful public space featuring an elegant staircase, comfortable chairs and sofas, and a charming fireplace. We loved the availability of games and books, creating a peaceful and enjoyable environment. The kitchen and dining room were a great addition, allowing us to prepare our own meals and interact with other guests. Our room, "the quilter," was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. We particularly enjoyed the private deck overlooking the lovely grounds. Despite the location being far from restaurants and services, the lodge's serene natural setting was a major highlight.

The walls were a bit thin, which may bother light sleepers. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a TV in our room, as mentioned in the description, or in the common area for some entertainment.
