Staying at Relax Inn Lawton felt like finding a hidden gem in a thrift store – a bit worn on the edges but full of cozy surprises! The room had ample space, and every shower felt like a mini spa with fantastic water pressure. Plus, Perry at the front desk? He deserves a gold star for making check-in smoother than a well-oiled machine! It's like he read my mind about needing a tub. I’m convinced he’s got a secret superpower!

i was expecting a grand experience but the mini-fridge took 2 days to barely freeze my ice cube trays, and the air/heater smells like mold. also, i thought a complimentary gesture was in order due to these inconveniences, yet nothing came! almost gave a positive review, but the stains on the armchair were just too much to overlook.

The beds were decent, allowing for a solid night's sleep amidst the mayhem. If you're a minimalist, the smaller rooms could work for you, as they come packed with furniture, keeping everything within arm's reach.

However, the furnishings were in pretty rough shape. my armchair was stained all over, and one of the curtains had a hole in it. There were also signs of neglect, including ripped drawers from the dresser and a ceiling that looked like it might cave in. The place could really use some TLC. a fresh coat of paint and some new linens could go a long way. If you have a larger group, prepare for limited towel supplies, which is just another hassle on an already cramped layout.

Solo travelers on a budget

The room was clean and I was surprised how quiet it was especially being near a main road. It had a deep bathtub that I absolutely enjoyed after a long day and the lighting was pretty decent for catching up on work.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what you got, it was acceptable.

great access to parks and local landmarks for city walks

my stay here was fantastic thanks to the close proximity to Elmer Thomas Park, which is less than 2 km away, and the impressive U.S. Army Field Artillery Museum just over 5 km away, perfect for my weekend wanderings and exploration of local history. I appreciated how easy it was to get to all these attractions and enjoy a nice stroll through the city while discovering new spots each day.

Perry was sweeter than tea! The rooms are clean and comfy, and y’all wouldn’t believe the deep bathtub they got. I was fussin' ’bout needing that kitchen, but they switched me quick as a flash. You gotta love how friendly everyone is, feels like family. Ya won't find better stayin' around here!

this place is pretty cool, it's got huge rooms and i loved how clean everything was. the showers were hot and the water pressure was on point! the staff was super chill and even helped us with a last minute room change, which was a lifesaver for our stay. also, they had coffee in the mornin which is a must for me. really felt like they cared, like a family run spot or somethin.

but the carpet had some stains and the bed was kinda uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep. also, the chemicals smell when u first walk in was overwhelming.
