The hallways are stark and poorly lit!!! Need more handicapped accessible rooms!!! The pull out sofa was uncomfortable, and there were no extra pillows available!!! The elevator is far from the rooms, making accessing your floor a chore!!!

The two-bedroom suite at Residence Inn Poughkeepsie was spacious and well-equipped with a full kitchen and clean facilities. While the hallway decor felt a bit stark and could be brighter, the friendly staff and solid breakfast options made our stay enjoyable. Ideal for families needing extra space.

convenience and comfort near parks and universities

during my recent weekend stay, I appreciated how close I was to Marist College, making it easy to explore the vibrant campus, and I also enjoyed morning walks at the nearby Springside Landmark, which offered beautiful park views and scenic trails.

We had an amazing stay in a spacious two-bedroom suite that offered plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The free breakfast had a satisfying variety that kept us fueled for our daily adventures. Plus, the outdoor pool was a hit, especially on sunny days.

The pull-out sofa needed an upgrade.

Should have more handicapped accessible rooms on all floors!!! The pull out sofa is old and broken down, making it impossible to sleep comfortably!!! The floor in front of the elevator on the 3rd floor is unstable!!!

The room was super spacious, man, having a full kitchen was a lifesaver for late-night snacks. Brekkie was on point—differing options every morning, even good coffee to kickstart the day! Staff were friendly, always happy to skinner and help out. Defs a solid spot!

Only downside was that the pool area could have used more towels—had to go on a mini hunt, ag man.

Free parking is great, but Wi-Fi kept dropping during my stay.

residence inn is a great choice for a home-like stay. i loved the daily buffet breakfast with a mix of options, from scrambled eggs to bagels. the indoor pool and whirlpool were perfect for relaxing, and the staff was super friendly, always quick to help. it’s conveniently located near josh and other activities, making it a fantastic spot to unwind.

The two-bedroom executive suite was a great choice, providing ample space with its two bathrooms and TVs in each room. The location is perfect, with eateries and a CVS nearby. However, Wi-Fi was inconsistent, and breakfast options felt limited compared to past visits. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout.

the residence inn in poughkeepsie is honestly one of the best hotels i've stayed in! the rooms are super spacious and clean, and having a kitchen is a big plus. i loved sleeping on the comfy bed and the bathroom was nice too. the outdoor pool is great, especially on a hot day, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. also, breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection.

the elevator noise was kinda annoying since my room was near it, and the wifi could be better, it kept disconnecting.

We had a one bedroom suite which was perfect for our needs the full kitchen helped us prepare meals and that was a lifesaver. I used the pool every day but no towels available which was a letdown

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but overall it was still acceptable.
