We had an amazing stay at the River Lodge And Cabins. the location along the Columbia River was absolutely stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the hotel and watching the mighty river flow by. the views and sunset were breathtaking, and the beach with a walking path along the river was a great addition. the on-site restaurant, Tap and Barrel, was very convenient and served excellent food at reasonable prices. We highly recommend the cheese chive crusted chicken dish. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at a charming inn right on the river. The views and sunsets were absolutely amazing, and there's even a beach and walking path along the river. The on-site restaurant, Tap and Barrel, was incredibly convenient and served delicious food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend trying the cheese chive crusted chicken. The staff at the inn were kind and helpful, especially when I made a mistake with my reservation. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. Additionally, there is a one-mile walking trail that loops around the area and up to an old tug boat.

The spacious rooms had comfortable amenities, including glassware instead of plastic.

We spent our Christmas at this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and it was an unexpected pleasure! the location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the river and stunning sunsets. the rooms were well-appointed and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured that our needs were met. It was a cozy and inviting hotel that made our Christmas stay extra special.

The only downside was the dining experience. We ordered room service for dinner and unfortunately, the food was not up to par.

The separate sink for using with the microwave and fridge was convenient. The cabins had a great layout and provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The walking trail along the river was a highlight, and having the restaurant on-site made dining easy after a long day of travel. The portable crib provided with a clean sheet and blanket was a thoughtful touch.

My wife and I stayed at River Lodge and Grill for a night on our way to Castle Rock. The hotel is upscale and the property is beautifully isolated, overlooking the river with immaculate grounds. The lobby, room, and grounds were all clean and well-maintained. The restaurant served delicious breakfast with generous portions. Despite it being winter, the river view from our room was lovely. The room rate was reasonable and the staff at the front desk was helpful. The hotel also has a nice coffee machine in the lobby. In the summer, the pools and the walking trail along the river would be a great addition to the stay.
