The River Rock Hotel in Mountain Home is a hidden gem for car travelers. The renovated rooms are clean, bright, and spacious, perfect for tall guests. The attentive service provided by the Manager on Duty, Tim, is top-notch. The on-site restaurant offers generous portions of delicious home-cooked meals. With rates starting at $65 a night, this place is unbeatable!

The hotel was great value for money, with affordable prices for comfortable, clean rooms. The location was perfect for our needs, near everything we wanted to do, including a church we were there to visit and prime trout fishing spots. The service was friendly, especially Tim who helped us book and check in, and the staff throughout our stay were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and hit the spot.

The hotel offered a complementary shuttle service to the nearby attractions, which was very convenient. the location was perfect for us, it was within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping centers, making it easy to explore the area. Oh, and the view from our balcony was stunning!

On a less positive note, the room we stayed in was smaller than expected and there weren't any additional amenities included outside of the basic coffee maker. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time inside the room as we were busy enjoying everything else the area had to offer.
