The location of the lodge is truly stunning, as it is literally right on the river bank. Guests can enjoy excellent fishing just steps away from their door, with the rivers ever floating water providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The lodge offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with a relaxing rustic room in front of the fireplace and a breakfast table that is perfect for starting the day off right. Guests can also partake in special events, such as floating on the river for a few hours, making for a truly unique and enjoyable experience.

One aspect to note is that the lodge may not be suitable for those looking for a wide range of facilities and amenities. While the location and scenery are breathtaking, the lodge may lack certain modern conveniences that some may expect, such as a gym or spa.

Wonderful host, relocated us to downstairs accommodation for mobility restrictions. Beautifully cooked breakfast of bacon, hash browns, and biscuits. Lovely person, knowledgeable of local area. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended to friends/family. Engaged with host's family and dog, which was wonderful. 😊

Spacious private suites with their own bathrooms were perfect for a group of colleagues to share. The riverside location provided stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere for downtime. The staff was friendly and accommodating to the needs of our group.
