Helpful staff carried my heavy bags at first stay. Riverhouse provides all I need: free Wi-Fi, parking, outdoor dining, laundry, TV room, kitchen utensils. Love hiking, cycling, and board games. No pets or smoke. Perfect weekend getaway with plenty to do.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. its location along a picturesque river was simply enchanting. The serene views from every window were breathtaking. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable, especially the extremely comfortable beds that made for a restful night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel was a delight, with locally sourced items from nearby farms and the best coffee I've ever tasted.

Not a single thing needed improvement during my stay.

I had an exceptional stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Maine. The location was stunning, with picturesque views of a river and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, providing the perfect place to relax. The owners, Mark and Mathilde, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that I had a wonderful experience. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and there were some great restaurants in the area. I extended my stay twice and will definitely be back. Without a doubt, this was the best experience of its kind.

What a wonderful stay! Modernized 1700s home with beautiful views of the river. Comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, and relaxing decor. Friendly hosts, great conversations. Enjoyed swimming in the pond and walking the lovely Riverhouse dog. Savory scones for breakfast were delicious. Plenty of local wildlife to see. Definitely want to return someday.
