It's all about location - can't beat where it's at! 🌴 But, got a bit of a shock when the balcony room we requested was initially not available, and the alternative one we got had a bit of a funky smell from nearby trash area. Pricey parking, though!

Loved the elegant oasis of The Royal Sonesta. Great location for exploring, comfy beds, and a delightful pool bar. Small hiccups with champagne and room cleaning, but overall a wonderful stay in the heart of NOLA. Staff and service shone bright. Will return for sure.

The Royal serves wonderful classic Southern meals in the hotel diner. the balcony room overlooking Bourbon Street is a dream worth the price. the hotel's attentive cleaning staff accommodated our pet-friendly requests, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the secure location and friendly front desk staff add to the overall excellent experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all our personal needs were met. Not only was the hotel kept immaculate, but every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect as it is right next to where everything is happening, perfectly in the center of all the excitement. We also appreciated the convenience of being close to Jackson Square and the Mississippi River. The hotel facilities were great, and we especially enjoyed the refreshing smell of the entrance fountain. The night staff security was also a bonus, providing peace of mind being on a lively street.

Comfortable and spacious rooms with good amenities. Friendly and helpful staff who are always available when needed. Peaceful location away from the noise. On-site coffee shop with delicious homemade treats. Swimming pool is refreshing and relaxing.

The staff's directions on my first stay were so helpful. It's my go-to place - luggage storage, 24-hour service, bar, fitness center, indoor pool, flat-screen TV. Coming back for Xmas!

I loved being on Bourbon Street, so close to everything. I could walk to all the best restaurants and shops. The hotel facilities were well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
