I had an incredible stay at the Sam Hughes Inn! The attention to detail and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The innkeeper, Susan, was welcoming and provided valuable recommendations for exploring the area. Her Southwest breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The location, nestled in a historic neighborhood, was perfect for exploring Tucson. I highly recommend this inn for an exceptional and memorable stay.

Stayed at this charming B&B for a week while visiting the university. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. The bedrooms were lovely, each with a private bathroom. The community spaces were welcoming and filled with Southwest art. The breakfasts were delicious, with a variety of fresh fruits every morning. The hostess, Susan, was wonderful and accommodating. We were even allowed to bring friends back for wine, with glasses and an opener provided. A delightful stay at a local gem.

The hotel is located in a unique historic neighborhood where an evening stroll allows for an opportunity to take in the lovely Southwest architecture. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with ironed sheets on a comfy bed and ample bathrooms. The hotel's attention to detail is evident in the lovely patio and the large bathroom we had all to ourselves. The breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room at Sam Hughes Inn was not only spacious and comfortable, but also stylish with a cool Southern Arizona vibe. The courtyard was a perfect place to relax and listen to the soothing sounds of water. The owner was helpful and even loaned me her cell phone when needed. The location was ideal, being close to the UA campus and within walking distance of a coffee shop and restaurant. I had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

As backpackers, we loved the private access to the lovely backyard and the quiet location. The generous shower with good water pressure was a must for us. The breakfast options of fresh muffins, bagels, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. The ability to eat in our room or in the spacious backyard was convenient. The location was great, with quick access to surrounding restaurants and historic downtown.

Location: the hotel was conveniently located near the university and several good restaurants. It was within walking distance, which saved me a lot of money on parking. Breakfast: the breakfast served at the hotel was truly outstanding. the french toast with the choice of warm maple syrup or homemade chunky blueberry syrup was delicious. the fruit salad was beautiful and the coffee was terrific. It was a memorable breakfast experience.

Bed Comfort: the bed in my room was too soft for my liking. It was not comfortable for me, as I prefer a firmer mattress.

They really made me feel at home. the location was also great, as it was close to everything but not right in the middle of the city. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the delicious breakfast served every morning. It was a wonderful way to start the day and I appreciated the effort put into preparing it.

The hotel's location is amazing as it is walking distance from the university. This made it possible for me to explore a lot of the city without a car. Additionally, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with the bathroom being large and having a private entrance. The breakfast served at this hotel was a wonderful gourmet creation and ample enough to skip lunch if you are so inclined. It was delicious and substantial, all in a lovely and inviting setting.
