San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina was a convenient choice for my transit stay, being only 15 minutes' walk from the Santa Fe Depot and 10 km from San Diego International. The proximity to the Convention Center, just 0.2 km away, made it a perfect location for quick access to my event. The breathtaking views of the waterfront and San Diego Bay from the hotel added a touch of serenity to my stay.

The only small detail was a mix-up with the room reservation. Although I had called ahead to confirm a King Bed for my 15th-anniversary trip, the first night we were given 2 double beds due to a 'requested' versus 'reserved' confusion.

The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the amenities provided were top-notch, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Despite the overall positive experience, the hotel's policy of limiting internet connections to only four devices per room was a slight inconvenience. With the prevalence of multiple devices per person, it caused a bit of hassle trying to add more connections.

I recently stayed at the Marriott in an amazing location by the marina for a few days. The pool area was fantastic with a hot tub, fireplaces, and even a Tequila restaurant. I loved the balcony in my room, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was attentive and courteous. Compared to other hotels, the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

The hotel offered beautiful harbor views and had large and warm pools for guests to enjoy. There were plenty of seats by the pool, so it never felt crowded. I particularly liked the large shallow pool for kids. The hotel also had a nice area for walks or runs. The breakfast buffet was great, with a variety of options. There were also restaurants nearby, including the fantastic Roy's attached to the hotel. The hotel had convenient amenities like a Starbucks, gift shop, gym, and meeting spaces. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Marriott.

The valet service. I lost my car for 45 minutes and ended up being late to an event.
