We had an amazing anniversary weekend at Sandaway in Oxford! Wendy, the owner, was fantastic and made our stay extra special with rose petals in our room. The Deluxe King Suite on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the ocean was absolutely beautiful. The staff treated us with kindness and the nearby restaurants, Robert Morris Inn and Latitude 38, helped us celebrate our anniversary in a memorable way. We had an amazing experience at Sandaway for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. The owner, Wendy, went above and beyond to make our stay excellent with rose petals in our beautiful Deluxe King Suite. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a stunning touch. We were treated kindly and enjoyed celebrating at nearby restaurants, especially Latitude 38 with personalized decorations and a menu, along with champagne. The location on the Tred Avon River, Choptank River, and Chesapeake Bay was beautiful. We enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and shops. The room was well-maintained and had a comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

The hotel had its own unique charms and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in, the Water View Chandelier Suite, was beautiful with a large screened porch that overlooked the river. The view of the water foul, boaters, crabbers, clam boats, and sailboats was wonderful and completely relaxing. The location was so peaceful and perfect to escape the craziness of the city.

The location was perfect! Quiet town, laid-back and super cute. The room had everything I needed and its own little charm. I really enjoyed the screened-in porch sitting area - great for morning coffees watching the boats pass by. The hotel grounds were very tidy and the staff was friendly. Within walking distance, there were restaurants like The Robert Morris Inn and a little coffee shop called The Oxford Social. The hotel was also conveniently located close to St Michaels.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Additionally, the accommodation itself is spacious and stylish. Our room had a screened balcony which allowed us to fully enjoy the stunning views. The breakfast, delivered in a charming basket, was generous and the coffee was superb. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional too, making our stay even more delightful.

One small improvement could be made in terms of the bathroom amenities. The shower and claw foot tub were quite small, and the sink had a drainage issue.
