Our family of 5 stayed at a charming historic hotel that used to be a brothel. the unique decor added to its character. With a full kitchen, we saved on food expenses. the central location allowed us to explore easily. the well-kept bathroom and friendly cleaning staff enhanced our stay. Being above a bakery diner was a delightful bonus.

The location of Sauerdough Lodging was perfect, right in the heart of downtown and close to the Alaska Sea Life Center. The room had a spacious kitchen and a comfortable bed. The vintage building had a cozy charm. Despite a few minor issues mentioned by previous guests, our stay was enjoyable. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and comfortable amenities.

Great location, easy walk from cruise dock. Nice coffee shop on first floor, open until 6 PM. Large one bedroom suite, clean bathroom, quiet at night. Convenient and affordable for families of 3-4.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the heart of the historic downtown area, away from the waterfront where all the large cruise ships dock. This means that it is convenient to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The rooms at this hotel are well-appointed and offer great value for money. I stayed in a room with 2 double beds, a full separate kitchen, and a great view. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff at this hotel were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast offerings at this hotel. There was a good selection of food and beverages to choose from, ensuring that I started my day off right.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the historic downtown and just above a bakery diner. It is close to several restaurants, bars, and shops. The room was comfortable and clean, with a functional kitchenette and a comfortable bed. The staff at the coffee shop downstairs were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom contains a claw-foot tub which may not be ideal for showering.

We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities in our room during our romantic escape. the small bag of coffee and complimentary drinks in the morning were a great start to our day. the location was perfect for exploring the quaint town and we enjoyed the gorgeous views of the mountains.

Our bed was uncomfortable and left us both feeling sore in the morning. the room was also much smaller than expected and lacked the promised views.
