The hotel is located close to a beautiful forest and only a short drive to Yellowstone National Park's entrance. It is also conveniently situated near a great Chinese restaurant that serves delicious food. The rooms are spacious and some come with private hot tubs. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service to guests.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Sawtelle Mountain Resort. The rooms were clean, new, and spacious, with comfortable beds and nice toiletries. The addition of a microwave and refrigerator was a great convenience. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone National Park, with a flat 30-minute drive to the west entrance. a great experience!

We had a last minute trip to Yellowstone and needed a hotel close to the West entrance. Sawtelle Mountain Resort was only a 30-minute drive, saving us from staying in a fully booked park or expensive hotels in West Yellowstone. The King room we stayed in had a cozy log cabin feel, with a comfortable bed, fluffy pillows, and a huge TV. The property itself was beautiful, and we enjoyed the sitting area in the "C" building. The breakfast options were sufficient, including hot and cold choices, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like crushed walnuts and dried cranberries with the porridge.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The pull-out couch was not as advertised and there was no extra bedding provided, but the rest of the beds were great. The hotel location is excellent, and we enjoyed using the hot tub in the room. I would recommend staying here.
