As a larger group of friends, we loved the fantastic location on the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound. The spacious double room with a balcony, fireplace, and unique furnishings was perfect. The on-site bars and restaurant offered great drinks, food, and service. The historic area provided a great backdrop for early morning walks, and we appreciated the helpful signage.

We had a fantastic weekend at this hidden gem. The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by historic houses, beautiful beaches, and even a cultural arts center. The rooms were comfortable and the service was top-notch. We were greeted warmly by John upon arrival, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beds were so comfortable that even the kids put themselves to sleep. The food at the restaurant was delectable, and the bar had a great atmosphere. We also took advantage of the spa and had amazing massages. this was a fantastic retreat and we wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room with a view of the marina was absolutely stunning. The sight of the water and the boats was truly mesmerizing. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with various seating areas to relax in. It also had a large and luxurious bathroom. I have to say, this was one of the most impressive hotel rooms I have ever experienced. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with everything meticulously clean. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when our check-in took longer than expected. The location on the shore of LI Sound was simply breathtaking, offering a gorgeous backdrop for our stay. Additionally, the hotel provided convenient parking and was within walking distance to the town, where we found plenty of great restaurants.

We got great value for our money at this resort. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful water view. The staff treated us with exceptional care and even brought plates and knives for us to enjoy our wine and cheese on the balcony. The location was perfect, with plenty to do in the area and a lovely town nearby.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was a more diverse menu with a wider variety of options.

The housekeeping service was not up to par during our stay. Our room was not vacuumed for the entire duration of our stay, which was disappointing.

The housekeeping service was disappointing, as our room was only cleaned once during our four-night stay, despite requesting daily cleanings. Even after calling the front desk to request housekeeping, our room was not attended to.

We loved staying at this place on the shore! The location by the marina and outside restaurant was perfect for us and we enjoyed watching the boats while dining. The staff provided sublime customer service no matter what requests we had, and the amenities such as the spa centre, indoor swimming pool, and fitness centre were top-notch. We also appreciated the option for in-room breakfast and the other dining options, including child-friendly menus and special diet menus.
