Convenient location, near the beach and local attractions. the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved the cozy and quaint atmosphere of the hotel. the rooms were clean and equipped with nice appliances. We enjoyed the cool breezes and didn't even need to use the air conditioning. the screened porch was perfect for enjoying meals. the beds were comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.

The kitchenette was small and the lighting in the unit was dim. Housekeeping seemed to not mop the floors often, as we had to do it ourselves.

The location of Shalimar Cottages And Motel was perfect - right on the beach with a stunning view of the water. The quiet atmosphere allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. The kitchenette with its fridge/freezer, coffee maker, stove, and toaster was a convenient feature for making breakfast and lunch. The staff gave excellent restaurant recommendations, which, coupled with our own internet research, made our dining experience enjoyable. Additionally, the beds were super comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible view of the gulf. The beach itself was nice and relaxing, and the facility was clean. We loved our stay so much that we're already considering going back soon, and we've recommended it to our friends.

We got great value for our money with a beautiful ocean view motel room that had a bohemian beach vibe. The staff was super nice, accommodating, and flexible with our needs. Location-wise, it was a short walk to the beach and there was an excellent restaurant just steps away. The pool was neat and spacious, and the whole place had a tropical and cozy feel.

Menu for breakfast could be improved.

Located near the beach with sea turtle nests. Room had amenities like mini kitchen, full-sized fridge, stove, and microwave. Air conditioner worked well. Comfortable beds and bathroom. Resort had a saltwater pool.

Our recent stay at Shalimar Cottages And Motel was fantastic. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach. The pool was clean and inviting. The cottage we stayed in had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing vacation with our family. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was fantastic.

The location was perfect, right on the beach with stunning sunset views. We enjoyed the simple but comfortable rooms, and having a well-equipped kitchenette was a great bonus.

The walls were quite thin, which meant we could hear everything from our neighbors. Also, there was no daily room service, which may not be a big deal for some, but it could bother others who prefer regular cleaning and fresh towels.

Great location near the beach, with a fantastic restaurant next door. The steak was absolutely delicious! The beach was peaceful and not crowded. Bikes on site made it easy to explore. The room was perfect for two people, with a nice veranda to enjoy the sunset. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook if we wanted.

I had the best time at the hotel! The location was incredible, right on the beach and close to the Gulf. The views of the sunset from the balcony were stunning. The motel room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. I loved having a kitchenette for small meals. The self-service linen and towel exchange made everything so convenient. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was also great that they had bikes for rent, and the hotel had a pool and all the necessary amenities. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and location right on the beach were the best aspects for me.

Loved the beachside location, easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The resort provided amenities like chairs, grills, and water toys. The rooms and kitchens were well-appointed with everything needed. Great for nature enthusiasts.

We loved the spacious and well-appointed cottages, with the added convenience of a self service laundry for towels and linens. Being able to walk to the beach was a definite plus, and the nice pool was an added bonus. The hotel's location close to restaurants and shops made it very convenient for us.

Proximity to the beach was good. Very quaint property. The motel was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for small meals. Our porch had a great view. The view is breathtaking. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Maria is awesome and will take care of any problems. We were literally steps away from the water. Some of the other properties are newer constructions, but not as quaint. This is exactly what we pictured for the ideal vacation.
