This old house has good bones and a charming setting. It is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. the gardens, although not well maintained, provide a beautiful backdrop to the property.

The rooms are in need of some maintenance and updating. the furniture in our room was worn and there were visible scratches and bare wood.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel built in 1854. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful old trees and a soothing water feature outside my window. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Main Street where I found lovely shops and great dining options. The hotel facilities are clean and nicely appointed, and there is ample parking off the street. The staff members were very pleasant and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast served here was delicious, with a variety of options including individual quiches and fresh fruit.
