The staff made me feel like family from the moment I arrived! I loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun in such a serene vibe. The breakfast was delicious, especially those fluffy omelettes that I could enjoy outside!

Our family faced a nightmare with heavy rain flooding our room. Water poured in, ruining our shoes and bags, and the staff seemed totally indifferent. We were really worried about safety, especially with the electricity around. It was exhausting!

My stay was fantastic, as I found myself just a leisurely walk away from the vibrant Duval Street, where all the bars, restaurants, and lively atmosphere come alive, while the stunning harbor where you can catch spectacular sunsets is also easily accessible; not to mention, famous sights like the southernmost point, the Hemingway House, and the Key West Cemetery are all within a short walk of less than 15 minutes, making it a dream for those who love to explore on foot, with comfortable rooms and a nice pool area to unwind at after a day of adventure, but the hotel could improve by offering more breakfast options or extending the hours for late-night travelers.

So, my experience at Silver Palms Inn was a bit of a mixed bag. On the bright side, the inn had some great amenities like ironing facilities and free toiletries, which were really convenient. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean, with a nice sitting area to relax in. there were a few things that could use some improvement. The air conditioning unit in the room was quite loud and kept turning on and off frequently, which was a bit annoying. the lack of automatic room service and the small bed size were a bit disappointing. On the upside, the location was ideal – close to Duval Street but still peaceful enough to unwind without disturbances. The breakfast was tasty, and the heated pool was a nice touch. there seemed to be some issues with enforcing rules around the pool area, as rowdy guests were allowed to disrupt the peace without much intervention from the staff. One major problem I encountered was during heavy rain, where water leaked into our room, causing our belongings to float on the floor. The staff's indifference to this safety concern was quite alarming and made me question the overall maintenance standards of the inn. Despite these setbacks, I did not have any major issues overall and might consider staying at Silver Palms Inn again on my next trip to Key West.
