We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff at the Stockade Inn. The bartender, waiter, and reception clerk were all welcoming and informative. Despite the initial appearance of the building, our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food at the bar exceeded our expectations, especially the steak fries. a refreshing change from generic chain hotels. Despite some minor issues, we would recommend staying at this unique inn.

Great location for exploring and nice, friendly staff. Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the free Wi-Fi.

The rooms were a bit outdated and could use some updates, the carpet and curtains felt a bit old. the bathrooms were clean, but the shower pressure was a bit low.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The location in the historic district was perfect, surrounded by charming 150-year-old homes along the river. It truly felt like stepping back in time to the Dutch colonial era. The service provided by the staff was outstanding, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. The room amenities were top-notch with a spacious sitting area, a dressing area, and complimentary toiletries. We also enjoyed the modern conveniences like the flat-screen TV and the reliable Wi-Fi.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
