Great place for a family Christmas getaway. The lodge atmosphere and cozy seating areas around the property were perfect for gathering and relaxing. The pool area was a hit with the kids, especially with the rooms that had bunk beds. It was fun to see them enjoying themselves. The breakfast had a good selection, although more gluten-free options would have been nice. We appreciated the fruit and limited cereal options.

There were a few issues that brought down our experience. there was a mix-up with our reservation and we were overcharged.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the cozy rooms and the cleanliness of the facilities. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a well-maintained place at an affordable price. The staff was friendly and seemed to take pride in their work. I also appreciated the variety of options available for the free breakfast, it made starting the day more enjoyable.

On the downside, the beds were a bit uncomfortable for me as I prefer a firmer mattress. Additionally, the showers were lukewarm at best and the hot tub was not as hot as expected.

The suite we were initially given was dirty, but the hotel staff quickly upgraded us to a VIP suite without us even asking. We absolutely loved the upgrade and had a fantastic time during our stay. The manager and staff were incredibly nice and always ready to help if we needed anything. The hotel also had ongoing events throughout the weekend, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hot tub by the pool was not working during our stay, which was a bit disappointing since that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Additionally, when we entered our room, there was a terrible smell coming from the refrigerator and we couldn't get rid of it.

We got an unexpected upgrade to a huge room with a fireplace and jetted tub, which was amazing for the price. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our check-in process quick and easy after a long day of hiking.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

We recently stayed at Stoney Creek Hotel for a weekend getaway with our family. The staff was friendly and efficient, always readily available to assist us. Our suite was upgraded to a VIP suite without us even having to request it, and it was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the variety of options at breakfast, including eggs, potatoes, yogurt, pancakes, and more. The pool, with its indoor/outdoor feature, was a hit with our kids, and the hotel had events going on all weekend, making our stay enjoyable.

As young holiday goers, we absolutely loved the log cabin feel of the hotel. The jacuzzi tub in the suite and the heated pools were fantastic for relaxation. Having an in-house bar to grab a few drinks before bed was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly scrambled eggs. We can't wait to come back with our whole family and reserve a family suite. The kids will have a blast here!

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was really impressed with the value for money. The room was spacious and clean, plus the bathroom was also really spacious and spotless. The location was great too, as it was very quiet and I couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms or the hallway. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and the check-in process was a breeze. They made me feel safe and at ease during my stay, which was really important to me as I was traveling alone with my child. The hotel had a nature theme throughout the property, with beautiful woodwork and unique carvings that my daughter absolutely loved. It made for some great photo opportunities!

The hotel breakfast menu could have been better. When we arrived for breakfast, the food that should have been hot was actually cold.

We got great value for our money with a clean and quiet room. The staff treated us amazingly and even upgraded us to a premium suite for a small fee. Plus, they allowed our bulldog to stay with us for an affordable fee.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was adding some potatoes.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of fluffy towels and a selection of delightful hair care products. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the restaurant where we gathered. The staff was friendly and professional, ensuring a pleasant stay. I especially loved the unique and nature-inspired decorations throughout the hotel. Highly recommend!

Great rustic vibe, friendly staff. Convenient location. Comfortable beds, cozy cabins, lovely hot tub and heated pools. Delicious breakfast with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Will definitely come back with the whole family for a fun time. Bees were happy too.
