Issues with cleanliness and maintenance in the room, including ants on the floor and sheets, a mildew-smelling air conditioner with a dirty filter, and lack of thorough cleaning. Additionally, unclear communication about breakfast vouchers led to confusion and unexpected expenses.

As a frequent visitor to U.S. mountain resorts, my recent stay at Birches Motel in Saratoga Springs was disappointing. Lack of amenities, noise issues, and unresponsive staff overshadowed the convenient location. Bright spot: the breakfast sandwich was good. In my opinion, improvements are needed for a more comfortable stay.

the staff was super friendly and helpful, making my stay very pleasant. They have a lovely outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying breakfast or just relaxing. the location was ideal for a quiet getaway, close to the city center and various attractions like the Saratoga Springs History Museum.

There were a few things that could be improved. the water pressure in the shower was quite weak, and the TV had some issues with picture and sound consistency.

At the first visit, staff recommended great places to eat. the spot has everything I need: Wi-Fi, Free parking, Outdoor dining, Flat-screen TV, Electric kettle. Perfect for hiking, cycling, golf, and canoeing. Allows pets, offers AC, and no smoking. Can't wait to return for my next trip.

The hotel's location close to everything but far enough for a quiet evening; super close to the lake; right near the main area with restaurants; staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Thanks to the friendly co-owner, we learned about the upcoming improvements in the hotel, which showed promise. Although some minor wear and tear was visible in the room, like a noisy metal bed frame and stained comforter, nothing major affected our enjoyable stay 😊.
