The property had a charming midcentury vibe and was right on the lake. Loved the attached upscale restaurant and the option for boat rentals. Close to other attractions.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they allow pets, which is a big plus for pet owners like me. The hotel had great facilities including an in-room refrigerator and microwave, as well as a patio or balcony with a stunning view of the pool and lake. The in-room hot tub was a wonderful feature, and the salt water pool was clean and refreshing. The hotel also had a laid back tiki bar by the pool that offered drinks, food, and entertainment. Additionally, the hotel had an upscale restaurant called T bones 11, which had delicious food and great service. The staff, especially Mary at the front desk, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided each morning was homemade and delicious, and there were also other good restaurants within walking distance.

The lake view from my room was absolutely stunning! The walkway along the water was beautiful and well-maintained. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast included was a nice touch. I had an enjoyable stay despite the minor inconvenience of a lukewarm shower. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel had a great location, just a short drive from the Chicago suburbs. the rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. the view of the lake from the pool was beautiful. One of the best things about this place was the nearby restaurant, TBones. We had a fantastic time hopping from one tiki bar to another.

The continental breakfast was a bit weak, but we didn't choose this place for the breakfast. the property itself felt a bit dated and could use some sprucing up.

Great staff, engaging restaurant, and beautiful lake view rooms located by a tiki bar and boardwalk. Comfortable beds make room perfect for a mini vacation with jetski rentals and saltwater pools. Breakfast had a few pastries, coffee filters for guests to make their own brewed coffee.

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options and a different hot item each day. The outdoor pool was heated and the building felt safe. The rooms were unique and the staff were friendly.

Our stay at the Blue Heron Inn was fantastic! We got great value for our money and the room exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of Pine Lake from our balcony. The staff treated us like family and were very accommodating.

The only thing that could improve the breakfast choices would be to add a bit more variety.

The catered food was absolutely amazing and our room, complete with a fireplace and lots of space, was perfect. The pool was clean, warm, and not crowded, with a bar nearby that was always busy. The view from our room overlooking the pool and lake was absolutely beautiful. a great experience and our new favorite local restaurant.

Lastly, the basic amenities in the room, such as the jacuzzi and fireplace, were a fantastic addition, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. Oh, and did I mention the refrigerator in the room? It was perfect for storing drinks and snacks. Plus, the included breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.
