The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few blocks away from all the action in the French Quarter. It's also conveniently located near a police station, which adds an extra layer of security. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a large television. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. The bathroom was spacious and tidy, providing a great place to freshen up after a long day of exploring.

During my New Year vacation, I stayed in a hotel a few blocks away from the city center and was glad for the peace it offered. The bed was very comfortable, and the television was large and perfect for a night in. the police station was situated just opposite the hotel, which made me feel more secure.

One thing that could be improved is the lack of amenities such as room service or breakfast. Although there were tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, it would have been great to have a microwave and another chair to sit on.

The Brakeman Hotel was a pleasant surprise during our stay in the city. The location, just a few blocks away from the bustling Bourbon Street, was ideal. We felt safe with the police station right across the street. Although our room didn't have a window, it was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The large television in the room was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable accommodations.
