had a lovely, relaxing stay at a small cozy hotel in san mateo. everything was modern and clean, and the quietness of the area was a huge plus. parking was easy and we enjoyed the nearby brew house for dinner. kasa the catrina exceeded expectations!

The amenities like the electric tea kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator were a nice touch. The location was quiet and close to restaurants. I had a restful and enjoyable stay.

We also loved the quietness of the neighborhood and the ample parking. Plus, there were plenty of dining options within walking distance, and it was convenient to drive to Sunnydale to catch public transportation into the city center. We felt safe and would definitely come back again.

The covered parking stalls were a pleasant surprise, ensuring our car was safe and secure. We felt super safe at this tucked-away property. Although breakfast wasn't available, the extremely comfortable bed provided a fantastic night's rest. The modern and clean facility offered easy check-in and check-out, with responsive customer service. The welcome packet with bottled water and biscuits was a nice touch. The no-contact check-in and check-out, along with the option to text with reps anytime, made everything so hassle-free. The free Wi-Fi in rooms, on-site car park, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and pet-friendly policy made our stay even more enjoyable. The air conditioning added an extra level of comfort, and the no smoking policy made the property even more inviting. It was a quiet and safe neighborhood, and we can't wait to come back!

There was a hot water pit for tea and plenty of tea and coffee pods, as well as liquid half and half. the room also had a refrigerator and microwave, which were really convenient. We appreciated the soft spare blanket and soft towels that smelled nice. the hotel even provided earplugs, water, and cookies. the shampoo and other toiletries were of very nice quality. There was also a roomy area for our suitcases and easy entry to the room. the customer service was quick to respond to our questions before check-in, and the price was very economical. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Fantastic stay! My recent trip to Kasa The Catrina was wonderful. I stayed for a few nights and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The lobby was impressive, especially with the fancy coffee machine. The courtyard added a nice touch to the ambiance. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had installed a new washer and dryer, and the best part was that it was free! The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were good too. The room had plenty of space for me as a solo traveler, and I appreciated the peace and quiet on the upper floor. The plumbing worked well, and the towels were clean. The hotel's location made it easy for me to access the freeway, and the door lock system, where they texted me the code, was convenient. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel.

We had a great stay at this place! Kasa the Catrina in San Mateo was perfect for us. the virtual check-in with a code was so convenient and easy. the rooms were really nice with a big television screen and plenty of TV channels. We loved having a Keurig coffee maker in the room, and the separate hot water boiler was a great touch. Communication with the staff was a breeze, either through email or text messages. We also enjoyed the nearby breakfast place, Heidi's, and the newly opened coffee shop, Kaizen, for our morning coffee. we highly recommend Kasa the Catrina.
