My stay at the hotel was absolutely magical. Every detail, from the elegant old-world ambience to the festive holiday decorations, was impeccably designed. the staff, from the friendly front desk crew to the attentive servers at the various restaurants, made me feel like royalty. the SeaHill Spa was a true oasis of relaxation, one of the best I've experienced. Cleanliness levels were top-notch, and the hotel facilities were opulent yet inviting. the location, with its proximity to a wonderful restaurant and the convenience of being able to charge amenities at a nearby hotel, enhanced my overall experience.

Small "king suite", no balcony.

The location of this hotel was great, as it was close to several restaurants and an event that we were attending that night. We also enjoyed exploring the small museum on the property. The room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom. The service provided by the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast offered delicious options, and we appreciated the view from our room.

The hotel could use more food options, specifically a wider variety of appetizers at the bar.

For a weekend getaway, my family and I stayed at this charming, historic hotel. the Christmas decorations were stunning, and the old building exuded character. the daily cookies were a delightful touch, and the lunch service was exceptional. We felt safe and enjoyed the proximity to the beach club and indoor swimming pool. Missy at TULU and Jonathan at ORION’S provided exceptional service, making our stay truly memorable.

I keep coming back for great staff. They helped me find car service on my first stay. the place has all I need: 24-hour reception, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, fitness center, Wi-Fi. I'll be back for Easter.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it was a great experience. The location was just perfect, with the beach and beach club next to it. The hotel amenities were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the room service, which was prompt and the food was delicious. The facilities were also top-notch, with an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa & wellness centre. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, providing excellent service to guests like me.

In short, I highly recommend this place.

We had a romantic escape and some things were nice: the complementary breakfast and wine were great, and the location was amazing, close to several restaurants and with a nice view. We also enjoyed the comfortable room.

The negatives overshadowed the positives. Housekeeping was lacking, the room was not cleaned properly and amenities were not refilled daily.

Beautiful historic grounds, first-class dinner and service, responsive reception staff, above and beyond assistance.

The Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach is absolutely magical. The beautiful grounds and renovated property make it a stunning place to stay. The amenities and services provided were exceptional, such as the delicious cookies given every night and the exceptional lunch service. As a young family, we felt very safe during our stay. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Marriott, where we could enjoy their amenities and charge them to our room. The staff members, Missy at TULU and Jonathan at ORION'S, were incredibly pleasant and made our experience even more enjoyable.

We felt totally at home during our stay at The Cavalier and had no complaints at all.

Stunning renovation and property. Friendly and attentive staff. Ocean view rooms are wonderful. Indoor lap pool at perfect temperature. Delicious food served.
