Complementary breakfast was good, appreciated the free parking. The location was convenient to shops and restaurants.

The room was very small and outdated, not ideal for a romantic escape. The walls were thin, and we could hear everything in the hallway and neighboring rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of everything. It is close to shops and restaurants, just a block from the outdoor mall. The room was comfortable with a nice updated bathroom. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They offered a delicious breakfast and there were entertainment options at night. The hotel had a library, a room full of games, and a beautiful garden.

The soundproofing in the hotel could be improved.

We had a delightful stay at Chalfonte. The hotel's historic charm was captivating, and the clean rooms added to the overall experience. The highlight was witnessing a beautiful wedding on the premises. Although some minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a TV and shared bathrooms, the hotel's ambiance compensated for it. I would highly recommend this charming hotel for a memorable stay.

Two blocks from the beach. Two wrap around decks. Charming bar. Excellent restaurant. Fantastic staff. Bath house for guests who have checked out. Delicious breakfast buffet with 10% discount for guests. Grit fries, pastries, and catfish were great. Bright room, super comfortable beds. Free music on porch at night. Historic landmark. Upgraded to honeymoon suite with games, library, and garden. Amazing breakfast. Perfect location. Walk to beach and city. Highly recommend. Excellent proximity to beach. Charming decor. Quaint bar. Fantastic dining.

We felt right at home in this charming and comfortable hotel. The rooms were always warm and cozy, a rare find during winter. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nearby shops. The large front porch was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or listen to live music in the evenings. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was friendly. a great value for the price and we would definitely stay here again.

The stay was pleasant and comfortable with no major issues.
