The shower with the oversized spray was a luxurious treat. The lobby was cozy and offered complimentary coffee day and night. The continental breakfast was tempting, with a muffin the size of my fist. The staff, especially the lady at morning reception, were polite and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Loved the artistic decor and attention to detail at this charming boutique hotel. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with renovated bathrooms and comfortable beds. the location was perfect, situated in a charming downtown area with plenty of shops and attractions within walking distance. the outstanding restaurant at the hotel offered delicious meals, including a feta-glazed salmon and a perfectly cooked filet mignon. the included breakfast was also excellent. the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

COLD was the only negative aspect of our stay. Despite setting the heat at 83, we couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

Limited cell service, some places lack wifi. a unique and clean vintage hotel with a fantastic restaurant. Perfect for a stopover before heading to the Outer Banks.

Our weekend stay was unexpectedly charming! the decoration was lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the great soaking tub and the abundant parking. the food was fantastic, with a fresh and lovely breakfast menu included and an excellent regional menu which we dipped into at dinner.

On the other hand, the heating register across from the tub made a distracting "ping" noise every 90 seconds. the steep and narrow stairs might cause concern to less steady guests but we managed well.
